Suspected Boko Haram member arrested in Ogun State.

 

A fleeing Boko haram member has been arrested in Ogun State, 22yrs old Muktah Umar was declared wanted in Maiduguri by the Nigeria army.

The suspect flee Maiduguri 3yrs ago to Ishiri in Lagos before relocating to kara, in ifo local government.


Parading the suspect, the commissioner of police Ogun State Abdulmajid Ali said the suspect ran away from Maiduguri when the military invaded his community and the heat was much of them, he said people of his community identified him as one of the sect members but he was able to escape from Maiduguri. He said his arrest was made possible by people who alerted the police.

The suspect in his reaction said he is not the member of the sect, but he has a friend who belongs to the group, he said he was declared wanted when they mistook him for his friend Mohammed who is a Boko harem member.
