Formal chief of defense staff Alex Bade sent to prison.

Formal chief of defense staff Alex Bade under Jonathan administration has been remanded in prison by justice Abang pending the ruling on his bail application. The justice has dismissed an application for bail filed by his lawyer Samuel Zibiri on the ground of incompetence and requested the defense counsel to file a new application.

Alex Bade has been accused by the EFCC for 3.9 billion Naira fraud. EFCC said the formal chief of defense staff bought a property in Abuja for260 million Naira and renovated such property with 60 million Naira.


 He also spent 878 million Naira meant for the Nigeria air force to build a shopping mall in Abuja
