Detention of Nnamdi Kanu vs shiite leader El-Zakzaky. are we still one Nigeria?
The arrest and detention of the Shiite leader El-Zakzaky by the Nigeria army has resulted to protest in most part of the north. In fact, Iranian protested at the Nigeria embassy in Iran to register their displeasure over the incident and they have demanded the released of their leader without further delay. Various Islamic states had voiced out, the national human rights commission said they are going to investigate the killings that took place in the Zaria Kaduna state by the army, the emir of
Kano Mohammedu sanusi II told the federal government led by president mohammedu Buhari to investigate the matter as he condemned the killing and arrest but it will interest you to know this same incidence can be liken to that of indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) whom their leader Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and detained by the federal government of Nigeria even when the magistrate court where he was arrain gave condition for his bail, the bail was perfected according to his lawyer Mr/Vincent Egechukwu Obetta yet DSS still detained him.
The Islamic communities have spoken condemning the action of the military not considering what really led to the arrest of the Shiite leader, they forgot to know that the life of the chief of army staff Tukur Buratai was almost taken by this group even though they denied it. but in the case of biafra it has been condemnation from every part of the country the unfortunate situation is that even some either statesmen from the east make bold to speak agent their people without looking into their grievances they have substituted the demand of the people with secession and recently the DSS said Nnamdi Kanu is sponsoring terrorism against Nigeria, what a shame! this same DSS has not been able to uncover those sponsoring Boko Haram uptil now, is a pit! the demand of the people still remains the preamble," release our leader nnamdi kanu". because detaining him means detaining everyone that believed in the struggle just as the Shiite has spoken but the elders in the east who are only saboteur we condemn instead of speaking with one voice. i make bold to say if this agitation is from the north it would have been achieved long time ago just as they stood against the re-election of president Goodluck Jonathan and they achieved it.
As the event continue to unfold we continue to watch what will be the actions of president mohammadu Buhari, his actions will whether he is the president of all or the president of the Muslim.
