Fulani herdsmen struck in Enugu again, as many people killed, including a Catholic seminarian.

Suspected Fulani herdsmen, Thursday morning, assaulted Enugu Atakwu people group, in Nkanu West Local Government Area , killing ‎a seminarian of the Catholic Church and a few others.

Day by day POST accumulated that the herders, who were outfitted to "teeth" attacked and began shooting and damaging anyone in sight.


One of the casualties, a seminarian is said to have quite recently come back from his missional work.

A people group source, who addressed our journalist, said "they just came early today and began killing individuals.

"There is disarray all over the place now; individuals are running higgledy piggledy."

As at the season of filling this report, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Calistus Onaga are in the group.
