The Abia State section of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Friday portrayed the court deciding
that Uche Ogah be initiated as legislative leader of the state as an "assault on majority rule government."
Every day POST reviews that the beset state Governor, Ikezie Ikpeazu was on Monday sacked by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja over duty avoidance.
The Justice Okon Abang-drove court requested the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, to instantly issue Ogah who came next amid the 2014 PDP gubernatorial primaries with Certificate of Return, which was done yesterday.
Be that as it may, the Chairman of the gathering in the state, Johnson Onuigbo while talking after a crisis meeting in Umuahia, the state capital said the gathering will oppose any endeavor at initiating Ogah as legislative leader of the state.
As indicated by Onuigbo, "Abia is not sheltered. I would not like to trust the gossip that the state will soon be attacked by the armed force since this is not a battle area.
"We need to illuminate the world that there is strain in Abia in light of the fact that popular government is going to be assaulted.
"As a gathering, we will oppose any move by anyone to undermine the peace in the state."
He kept up that the beset representative has acquired an exparte directive, "controlling the state Chief Judge or whatever other judges from swearing in Mr. Ogah as senator.
"We are prepared for them, we are prepared to pass on, If they do it, then they are welcoming turmoil and perplexity in the state.
"We are in a majority rule government so we need the world to hear and realize that we are as a rule bamboozled in Abia."
