B reaking News: Explosion in part of the CBN building in Calabar

Gas explosion occurred in the central Bank of Nigeria CBN office in Calabar, the part of the building which was said to be under construction .

The spokesman of the CBN mr Isaac Okorafor said there was a fire incident but no casualty was recorded .

His words, “There is a gas explosion from the construction area of our premises there. There is no fatality yet. A few persons who were injured have been taken to the hospital. The Fire service personnel responded promptly and they have been able to put out the fire.”
