Read how Abba Moro and his officers divert money meant for Immigration recruitment.

 

Trail for the formal minister of interior Abba Moro under Jonathan administration is to commence today by the EFCC with others arrested with him. He is being charged in connection with over 650 million Naira which was realized from the immigration recruitment exercise in 2014 in which 6.5 million applicants applied for 5,000 vacancies each applicant paid one thousand Naira.


The fate of Mr David Paradang formal Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration is still hanging.

It is still shocking that nobody among the agencies involved have been able to account for the 650 million collected from the applicant. It was on record that 212 million Naira was budgeted for the recruitment, but 45million was approved, but the officers diverted the money, 167 million earmark for logistics was also diverted.
